Learn More About the Conference

The 2026 ACGME Annual Educational Conference will be held 19-21 February 2026 at the San Diego Convention Center and Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina in San Diego, California, US. Join colleagues from around the world at the ACGME’s signature learning event and experience three days filled with innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking topics. For learners, leaders, educators, and visionaries, the ACGME Annual Educational Conference strives to be an environment that welcomes anyone who is passionate about GME.

Online registration is now closed. On-site registration will open at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina on 18 February.

International attendees of the Annual Educational Conference, the largest GME event of its kind in the world, will find a wide selection of curated experiences and content for both seasoned and first-time attendees, as well as numerous networking opportunities both formal and informal, with thousands of GME professionals and changemakers who are shaping the future of academic medicine.

Attendees will also be able to learn more about both ACGME Global Services and ACGME International (ACGME-I) through direct interaction with leaders and staff members, offering valuable opportunities to discuss potential collaborations and answer questions.

  • ACGME Global Services will lead SES009, “Global Implementation of CBME: Insights for GME Leaders in the US and Beyond” on Friday, 20 February at 1:30 p.m.
  • ACGME-I will present its “Update on ACGME-I Accreditation” (SES061) on Saturday, 21 February at 8:15 a.m.

Check out the full session schedule for information about these and more than 130 other educational sessions.

On the first day, Thursday, 19 February, join fellow attendees at the Marvin R. Dunn Welcoming Poster Reception and Exhibitor Kick-Off, where you can meet poster presenters from around the world to discuss their GME research and innovation. Throughout the three days, you will also have the opportunity to meet with staff members from ACGME Global Services and ACGME-I at the ACGME Hub within the Exhibit Hall. And all attendees are welcome to attend the International Reception on Friday, 20 February, where you can network with peers from around the world in an informal and convivial environment.

The ACGME recognizes international travel can be a major undertaking, including visa acquisition, and requires advance planning, and encourages attendees to prepare early.

The ACGME looks forward to engaging in conversation, building connections, and sparking new ideas at #ACGME2026!
